2001년 인사동에 개관한 이화익갤러리는 2005년 전시 공간을 확장하여 현재의 송현동으로 이전하면서 본격적으로 미술계의 영향력 있는 화랑으로 발돋움하였습니다.
이화익갤러리는 국내에서 현대미술을 대표하는 중진 작가들을 중심으로 전시를 기획하고 홍보하면서 활발하게 활동하고 있으며, 창의성과 역량이 돋보이는 젊은 작가들에 대한 지속적인 관심과 발굴, 지원을 아끼지 않고 있습니다. 또한 해외 유수 갤러리들과의 교류 및 아트 마이애미(ART MIAMI), 아부다비 아트페어(ABU DHABI ART), 한국 국제 아트페어(KIAF SEOUL)와 같은 각종 국제아트페어의 지속적인 참가, CHRISTIE's, Sotheby's 등 해외 유명 옥션의 참여를 통해 국내 작가들의 해외 진출 기회를 확대함으로써 세계 미술 시장의 흐름에 발 빠르게 동참하고 있습니다.
이화익갤러리는 축적된 전문 지식과 실질적인 경험을 바탕으로 지속적으로 한국의 현대 미술을 홍보하고 이를 통해 미술계의 발전에 기여하고자 하는 노력을 계속해 오고 있으며, 국내 미술계 발전에 이바지함은 물론 생활 속 미술 문화를 확대하는데 집중할 것입니다.

Since its opening in 2001, for over 10 years of time, LEEHWAIK GALLERY has become one of the most influential galleries in Korea. LEEHWAIK GALLERY now represents leading figures in the Korean contemporary art with exhibitions and promotes artists to galleries and dealers worldwide. At the same time, it unwearyingly discovers and supports rising artists in Korea. LEEHWAIK GALLERY continuously participates in the international art fairs such as ART MIAMI, ABU DHABI ART and KIAF SEOUL, also in the auctions by CHRISTIE's and Sotheby's in order to promote Korean artists to the international viewers. Such opportunities enable for the artists to enter the international art markets and eventually contribute to the advancement of Korean contemporary art market. LEEHWAIK GALLERY will continue to support Korean contemporary art to the wider viewers around the world. LEEHWAIK GALLERY's long-standing experiences and reputation will be instrumental in the growth and advancement of the Korean art world.
